Jacob Sartorius

JacobRolf Jacob Sartorius was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Due to his parents being incapable of taking care of the infant shortly after birth, he was given up in adoption and later moved to Virginia. His adoptive parents took care of him to the age of Reston Virginia. When he was seven years old, Sartorius started singing in musicals and realized his interest in performing. After the end of Vine which was an American short-form video hosting platform, in 2017, Sartorius lip-syncing videos posted through the site gained an impressive eight million subscribers as of August 2016. As a victim of bullies, he believed that the internet was his way of opportunity to get away. He used to say that prior to Musical.ly it was clear that he wasn't one of the loudest. He believed that no one would be watching except the camera.
